ReRead is an online platform for individuals to easily buy, sell and exchange books within their nearby location. The project was developed to provide readers with affordable access to books while encouraging a culture of reuse and sustainability.

01 —The Challenge
Many book lovers face the problem of expensive brand-new books and a lack of storage for growing collections. ReRead solves this by acting as a one-stop platform where users can acquire books cost-effectively and pass on books they no longer need.
For this project, my core objective was to design a responsive and user-centric web interface that delivers a seamless browsing and interaction experience across multiple devices.
02 —Key Features Developed
- Responsive UI Design: Built clean, mobile-first interfaces using Bootstrap 5's grid system, including navbars, product cards, modals, and carousels.
- User Authentication: Implemented frontend logic and form validations for login and registration, integrated with JWT authentication.
- Product Display & Cart: Created dynamic shopping cart functionalities and book catalogs using DOM manipulation for real-time feedback.
- Code Optimization: Ensured cross-browser compatibility and optimized layout behavior across all screen sizes.
